Medication Assisted Recovery

Our Medication Assisted Recovery Program helps individuals who suffer from substance use disorders to overcome their cravings and increase their chances of total recovery.

 

We provide a safe, supportive environment as you work through your struggles. We offer counseling, group therapy, and individualized treatment plans that are tailored to your needs. 

What are the Benefits of MAR Program?

  • Decreases opioid related overdose deaths

  • Decreases illicit drug use

  • Increases social functioning and retention in treatment

  • Decreases transmission of infectious diseases such HIV & Hepetitus C

  • Improves maternal and fetal outcomes for pregnant and breastfeeding women

Are these Medications Addictive?

  • The dosage of the medication does not produce the "high" associated with opioid misuse

  • MAR is NOT the same as substituting one addictive drug for another

What Medications are Used?

  • Buprenorphine

  • Naltrexone

What do these Medications do?

The medications restore balance to the brain circuits affected by addiction, allowing the brain to heal while working toward recovery.
