Available Positions

Behavioral Health Specialist (LCSW OR LCPC)

Eagle View Community Health System is looking to add a Behavioral Health Specialist to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs psych-social assessments, testing using evidence-based diagnostic tools for patients referred by internal, external, and self-referral sources, for example, depression, anxiety, trauma, grieving, dementia, and other mental health disorders at the DSMV. At times, this may necessitate warm hand-off between departments.

  • Provides brief and traditional behavioral health interventions for eligible patients, crisis intervention, may provide individual, family group, and couples therapy. Provide services to assist or refer out all age ranges

  • Refers patients with serious mental illness to the emergency or community services as deemed appropriate.

  • May participate in the management team, staff meetings, and behavioral health team meetings, and any others as required by the Eagle View Executive Staff.

  • Works with the Clinical Director to plan and conduct in-service training, community education, and orientation programs regarding behavioral health matters.

  • Works with the Clinical Director to plan and participate in the annual educational seminar, as well as any other community educational outreaches as deemed appropriate or needed, after conferring with medical/dental directors and Executive Staff.

  • Provides liaison/outreach networking with multiple area community organizations involved in behavior health activities.

  • Maintains electronic health records and reports in accordance with EVCHS policies and procedures.

  • May supervise undergraduate and graduate-level students requesting practicum experience at EVCHS as deemed appropriate and in consultation with the Executive Staff.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work and/or Counseling with the ability to obtain licensing in the state of Illinois and/or Iowa.

  • Minimum of two years practical experience in the delivery of behavioral health services (preferred).

  • Must maintain licensing credentials in the state of Illinois and/or Iowa. 

 

 

Dentist

Eagle View Community Health System is seeking a dentist to provide dental care to patients at facilities in Stronghurst and Oquawka, IL. 

 

Qualifications

Requires DDS or DMD or equivalent; & Illinois Dentist's License eligible. Full-time position w/Henderson County Rural Health Center, Inc., d/b/a Eagle View Community Health System. C.V. to Shannon Courson, Eagle View Community Health System, 1204 Highway 164 East, Oquawka, IL 61469.  EOE.

Dental Assistant

Eagle View Community Health System is seeking a motivated individual to join our busy Dental Department at our Health Center. We prefer a candidate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history

  • Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested

  • Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies

  • Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed

  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs

  • Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials

  • Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
     

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

  • Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) preferred, but not necessary

  • Current CPR certification preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience as an assistant

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines

  • Possess a professional and positive attitude
