Our School-Based Health Center offers Covid-19 testing for all Burlington Community School District students, employees and their households.
Due to the nationwide shortage of COVID-19 tests, the following guidelines for testing are effective immediately:
  • If you have been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, but are NOT experiencing symptoms, we will ask that you wait 3-9 days before testing. If you still have not developed symptoms, we will test using a PCR test (3-5 business day turnaround time).
  • If you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 and you are experiencing at least three symptoms, we will test using a rapid test (15 minute turnaround time).
  • If you are experiencing symptoms, but have not been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, it will be up to the provider to determine what kind of test is needed.
ALL appointments for COVID testing will be considered an office visit with our Provider
