School Relations Coordinator

The School Relations Coordinator plays a lead role in coordinating the outreach to the community, schools, students, families, teachers, and other constituents in support of the EVCHS (Eagle View Community Health System) mission. S/he develops strategic relationships with key individuals, organizations, and advisory boards; engages school communities and provides outreach to and increases recognition of EVCHS School-Based Health Center (SBHC) services and build EVCHS's SBHC patient base. S/he provides essential coordination between the school and SBHC to ensure health and academic outcomes are achieved through an active access framework in the school. 

  

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 
 

  • Leads parent engagement initiatives to support students with chronic attendance and academic issues to ensure that students are linked appropriately to SBHC and EVCHS.  

  • Coordinate's initiatives that proactively increase student access, and utilization of SBHCs.  

  • Supports the development and sustainment of SBHC Youth Advisory Boards.  

  • Maintains strong relationships with neighborhood associations, grassroots agencies, merchant associations, and other neighborhood stakeholders.  

  • Strategically engages other schools without SBHCs in the communities that EVCHS serves.  

  • Supports capturing student demographic information and student enrollment into the clinic.  

  • Supports SBHC marketing and promotional events at all schools.  

  • Collaborates with front desk staff to increase the quality of customer service.

Qualifications/Certification Requirements

 

  • At least three years of community health, school health, or social work experience.  

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Highly energetic, motivated, resourceful, and self-directed.  

  • Must have flexibility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  

  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.  

  • Ability to work a varied schedule with rotating hours and travel locally.  

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
